Digital Literacy in the Yukon

Welcome to the Yukon University Digital Literacy Web program where you can improve your online skills and earn micro-credentials! Our micro-courses are available to anyone free of charge. They are self-guided and easy to follow.

What exactly is Digital literacy? Digital literacy means having the skills you need to live, learn, and work in a society where communication and access to information is increasingly through digital technologies like internet platforms, social media, and mobile devices. 

By completing the individual micro-courses on Digital Literacy, you will gain an understanding of why Digital Literacy is necessary and how it can support your own individual needs.
