Basics of Digital Literacy

The Basics of Digital micro-course is set up as a series of videos and activities. Scrolling through this Webpage from top to bottom, clicking on the individual videos or links will navigate you through the course. There are five sections to complete. Take your time and enjoy!

Throughout this course, you will learn how to:

  • ​Use google search function to research and find specific information
  • Copy and insert hyperlinks
  • Interact with others in a digital environment

Now it’s time for some fun! Using the skills you learnt about search engines, we are going to put your new knowledge to test and try a Digital Scavenger Hunt! Using a search engine of your choice, type in keywords and find sites for the following topics:
